The dust is beginning to settle after a few busy weeks! We finished our SBAC testing here at La Joya Elementary School and we are now enjoying our last week together working on fun projects and dressing up for spirit days! The students worked so hard!

When we are testing, we are asked to take all of our standard related material off of the walls. This always makes me a little sad because it leaves the walls blank and boring. I am one for color and fun in the classroom so we did something a little different this year.

Presenting.... our MOTIVATION walls!!

We also made a wall to brag about what we were most proud of. This was fun because the kids were able to refelct on all of the great things they have done this year. I have also posted the ways we keep track of our top readers and multiplication masters! We strive to read 1,000,000 words per year. This year we had ten students who reached that goal! I am so proud of them amd all the kiddos because they tried their very best!
