Review, Review, Review!

We have been taking a lot of time to review these last couple weeks for our upcoming SBAC. The kids and I have been working really hard and putting in 100% effort! I am so proud of these kiddos! We have pulled out a couple of tools that are really going to help us when we take our tests in a week and a half!

For example, we have been using these Responding Tips task cards. They really help the students get started when constructing responses to questions. They also help by giving them a guide to use eveidence from the text when they are answering different questions.

Pictured above are our SBAC Key Vocabulary review cards. Each one of these cards has a different vocabulary word that the students may see when completeing their test. I want them to feel comfortable with the academic language they will be seeing so they can focus more on coming up with an answer rather than getting stuck on a word.

Last but not least, we have the important Brain Break! We use brain breaks during the entire school year, but now more than ever! These kiddos are working so hard and we try to squeeze some fun in when we can!
