Fraction Fun!

Today the kiddos and I were adding and subtracting fractions with like denominators. The kids were awesome and did it three different ways! First they did it the numerical way by using a simple equation, then they used their fraction tiles to represent the fractions, and finally the used blank bars and drew the fraction they were working with. I think they really enjoyed seeing all the different ways they could work out the problem!
